How wacky is Gaddafi?
Beyond pitching a tent in New York City and other bizarre behaviour, my favourite is his contingent of female bodyguards. It must be obvious that the ladies provide more than just security services.
Gaddafi actually had male security detail, too. As a hotel guest in an unnamed country, I was riding alone in an elevator with one of them during Gaddafi's official trip. His security guy behaved so badly that I had to report it to the hotel management, but I didn't press charge. I didn't want to see my name in local press, either.
